May 5, 2005 - Writing The Treatment

1. The idea behind my PSA is to prevent unnecessary violence in today's world, especially in teens.
2. I think I will use a Documentary/Drama form, something that will grab everyone's attention, not just a certain group of people.
3. I think I'm going to go for more of a somber theme, show the consequences of what could happen if the violence problem continues to grow.
4. There will be all kinds of visuals in it because violence isn't always towards people. Animal abuse, war, etc.
5. Freeze Frames, and make it look like a news camera, like an episode of Cops or something.
6. I have lots of ideas for the editing. I want to experiment with the special effects to see what i can come up with.
7. Most likely, I think I will need clips, especially from movies.
8. Yes, music and sound effects.
9. EVERYONE, my PSA isn't just towards a certain group, but mainly its directed towards teens.
